Keebler On The Big Screen
Emily and I saw Brave this weekend with our friends Steve, Wells and Tammy. Wells, on my left, leaned in and started talking to Steve, on my right, about something, while I was slunk in my seat greedily enjoying my 1lb. bag of Twizzlers when I GASPED and thrust my free pointing hand right through their conversation and personal space to directing them to the Keebler commercial that was playing on screen! Needless to say this was a freak out moment and the combination of a mouth full of Twizzlers and speechlessness left me an ill-mannered, mumbling, wide-eyed fool with his jaw dropped clear down to the floor and a smile so big it hurt. This was a first.
Seeing something I worked on, on the same big screen as the fantastic movie I've been waiting to see for over a year was unbelievable. No it's probably not the same as seeing my own animation in a feature film but damn it, it felt really cool to see that piece of hard work up there.
